Introducing "Life in the Mom Lane" the Fleurville Blogspot

A few weeks ago, I had a moment of clarity and realized that the perfect life I had imagined - the one where I could go on every field trip for both kids, Kai and Margot would both brush their teeth every morning without being reminded, the laundry would fold itself, and I would have time to write and funny and thoughtful blog several times a week - was just not going to happen any time soon. Thankfully, before I had a chance to start feeling sorry for myself, a solution for ONE of these inner conflicts popped into my head immediately - Heather Richardson!!! Mom of two little ones, super smart, great writer, hysterically funny - she was the perfect Fleurville blogger - but would she do it??? I knew she was already juggling 4 jobs and 2 kids, so the chances were slim to none but why not try? I sent her an email right away and got a response within in minutes saying she would do it!!! My blog angel had appeared!

Now I figured with her busy schedule, she'd be lucky to have time for one blog a week, but Heather is one of those incredible time-ninja women. She writes the blogs in her head while she's driving and tuning out the whines from the backseat, then types them up and sends them to me. She has already sent 5 entries in less than 2 weeks - can you say prolific!?! Please read on and see why I am so excited about this. Not only is she a smart, funny mom immersed in toddlerhood - she has a way of helping us laugh at ourselves and the crazy lives we live every day.
